Knowing More About Islamic Turban

The mode of dressing since time in memorial has always been influenced by a number of factors such as religion, traditions and different cultures around the world. In these scenarios, firmness has been employed in ensuring their respective followers adhere to it at all times. A good example is the use of Islamic turban for the Muslim brotherhood. This one has been there since the early days of Prophet Muhammad.

The above mentioned attire is elongated and slim when it comes to size. Men of this religion use it to cover their heads as denoted in their beliefs. The fabric comes from a variety of materials; some synthetic while others natural. They include cotton, wool, nylon and polyester. Regardless of this variation in make, it serves the same purpose; covering the heads of men believers.

Another variation is evident when it comes to color. The most colors preferred are back and white though; others do exist such as blue, green and grey. With a clear in depth view, each color has its own purpose and meaning. Those who know wear them as per these purposes but; anyone can use any color as long as it is in his preference.

On the issue of size, there is a standard measure denoted in the chapters of the prophetic book. This is actually in terms of length; between seven to ten yards. In this view, any measure between these two is quite appropriate. Of late, this length has been a subject of debate, with the leaders failing to agree on the right size. That is why any long cloth that covers the head with at least one winding is suitable for use.

Wrapping around the head is done in a certain aspect. This implies that it requires a skill. Some end up having difficulty in doing so but with time and practice, they fully perfect. When wrapping, it has to be done to a point where the crown is completely covered. At some point in time when this is done, Muslims who use it tend to have recurring headaches.

The attire is quite useful in various aspects with regards to Islam. Those wearing this are viewed as men with a high sense of manhood in them. He is accorded much respect since he deserves it as per the writings in their holy book. It is a good sign of total belief in this faith.

When praying, the use of this piece of cloth is a must. Some view bare heads while in prayers as a sign of laziness and abomination to the religious aspect. In this modern time, praying with a turban on the head is no longer an abomination as some view this as a way of total humility before Allah.

Islamic turban is also used as identification for fellow brothers and clear distinction from the non Muslim believers. This brings them together for fellowship, socializing and strengthening the ties within their belief. To them, it is an easier way to identify a fellow brother in this religion. As an identity, they believe it brings them good rewards.
